The Cork University Business School at University College Cork is carry out research on the impact of blockchain technology adoption on the business models of small and medium enterprises.
According to leader researcher, Zainab AlShabeeb, PhD student in the Business Information Systems programme, the results from the research will contribute to understanding the potential impact of blockchain technology on the business models of SMEs and, more generally, the relationship between disruptive technology and business model transformation.
