The UN Climate Conference COP27 took place in in Egypt, where leaders gathered to discuss climate action, propose solutions to the current crisis and explore how technology can help to tackle some of the biggest issues facing the planet, reports Blockleaders.io.
Blockchain project, Unique Network partnered with leading climate organisations, teamed up to present the Digital innovation pavilion at the event. Polkadot, a leading Layer 1 blockchain, had a presence at the global event to discuss the different use cases and the energy efficient blockchain solutions.
IAAI GloCha, Un-Habitat and the Climate Chain Coalition are on the ground at COP27, from November 6 – 18. Unique Network will lead blockchains’ role in the fight against climate change at the COP27 Digital Innovation Pavilion. The technology focused pavilion provides a stage to showcase leading climate tech projects including the ongoing Digital Art 4 Climate project and other advanced NFT related projects.
Unique Network have been actively supporting the vision to use NFTs and advanced blockchain technology to deliver sustainable solutions for the future. In September, the Digital Art 4 Climate project was presented at a conference in the United Nations Headquarters, where the CEO Alexander Mitrovich also represented the industry on UN Web TV.
