ETFbook, specialising in data and analytics for the exchange traded funds (ETF) market, has announced €4 million Series A funding round led by BlackFin Capital Partners.

The Zurich-headquartered company, with presence in key European financial hubs such as London, Paris, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, and Dublin, provides a comprehensive data and analytics platform accessible through a user-friendly web application and robust APIs.

It has demonstrated strong growth since its launch in mid-2020, now engaging with a diverse client base of 35+ institutional clients.

The company says to effectively navigate what is a rapidly evolving market, ETF eco-system and investment professionals require access to comprehensive, up-to-date, actionable data and analytics to make informed and strategic decisions. It reports that use cases span a wide range, including new product analysis, fund flows analysis, performance comparisons across ETFs tracking similar indices, liquidity analysis from on and off-exchange trading volumes.
