Professor Joyce O’Connor

Professor Joyce O’Connor is the founding President of the National College of Ireland, Co-Founder & Chair of BlockW, member of Blockchain Ireland Steering Committee, Chair of the Education, Skills and Innovation Working Group for Blockchain Ireland and Chair Digital Group, Institute of International and European Affairs. A former Chair of the Digital Hub Development Agency Professor O’Connor has extensive experience as a Chair and Board member to a wide range of state, semi-state, educational and not for profit organisations.


Dr Jane Thomason

Dr Thomason is a successful entrepreneur having founded and built a $250 million revenue consulting company. She is a thought leader in technological innovation, fintech and blockchain for social impact. Recognised in Forbes Magazine (2018) as a leader in Blockchain for Social Impact, Dr Thomason authored the book Blockchain Technologies for Global Social Change. She has consulted to multiple international organisations on  Digital transformation, sustainability and ESG, including to the Commonwealth Secretariat on the preparation of a Fintech Toolkit for Central Banks, and prepared and presented a Technical Paper on Blockchain and Sovereign Bonds for Commonwealth Ministers of Finance meeting in 2019.  She is a Co-Founder of the British Blockchain and Frontier Technology Association, and Section Chief Editor Blockchain for Good: for the journal Frontiers in Blockchain. In 2019-2020, she convened London FintechWeek, London Blockchain Week and London Digital Impact Week. She is a
regular blockchain hackathon judge and mentor and mentors social impact startups.


Helen Disney

Helen Disney founded Unblocked in 2017 as a hub for Blockchain insights, education and events. She is now regarded as one of the best-known voices on Blockchain and cryptocurrency in the UK. She also has a passion for modernising healthcare and in 2020 joined PCL Health, a remote monitoring start up, as head of communications and marketing. She has been a champion for women in blockchain as a member of The Bigger Pie and Women in Blockchain International, WiTechRev blockchain events at London Blockchain Week and London Fintech Week. In 2016, she was listed in Innovate Finance’s Women in Fintech Powerlist and in 2020 was listed as one of Crypto Curry Club’s 101 Women in Blockchain. Helen has chaired and spoken at a wide range of high-level events globally alongside senior decision makers including Presidents, Prime Ministers, MPs, MEPs and CEOs. She has worked with a host of global media brands including The Economist, The Times, The Evening Standard, Dagens Industrie and The Fintech Times. She curated and hosted the UK’s first major Blockchain Alternative Investment Conference in London and has spoken at events hosted by the United Nations General Assembly, Chatham House, and the Law Society as well as giving evidence to the inaugural meeting of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Blockchain. Helen was recently listed as a Top 100 Regtech Influencer and was one of the Financial Technologist’s inaugural Fintech Founders 50. She has been referred to by Barclays as a “Blockchain guru” as well as featured in the Spectator magazine as one of the ‘queens of crypto’. She founded and ran the Stockholm Network for 15 years. The network was made up of over 120 member organisations spanning more than 40 countries. Helen is a co-founder of the British Blockchain and Frontier Technologies Association and mentor for the Global Thinkers Forum.


David Koepsell

David is an entrepreneur, author, philosopher, attorney, and educator whose recent research focuses on the nexus of science, technology, ethics, and public policy. He has provided commentary regarding ethics, society, religion, and technology on: MSNBC, Fox News Channel, The Guardian, The Washington Times, NPR Radio, Radio Free Europe, Air America, The Atlanta Journal Constitution, and the Associated Press, among others.
He has been a tenured Associate Professor of Philosophy at the Delft University of Technology, Faculty of Technology, Policy, and Management in the Netherlands, Visiting Professor at UNAM, Instituto de Filosoficas and the Unidad Posgrado, Mexico, Director of Research and Strategic Initiatives at COMISION NACIONAL DE BIOETICA in Mexico, and Asesor de Rector at UAM Xochimilco. He is the co-founder and CEO of EncrypGen, Inc., Venture Partner at Impact Rooms, and Research Associate Prof at the University at Buffalo Dept. of Philosophy.


John Kamara

John Kamara is a Tech Entrepreneur with over 20 years’ experience working in new market acquisitions across various technology verticals in Europe, America, Asia and Africa. John is one of Africa’s leading experts on how businesses can leverage key technology trends, transform  0rganizations and drive competitive advantage for impact in industries including finance, agriculture, health, education, gaming and startup enterprises. He is a Pan African renowned business leader, entrepreneur, investor, consultant, mentor and public speaker holding multiple

Having worked in market growth leadership roles for global technology companies at Google, Conduit, Digicel, BMC Software and others, John is committed to seeing technology play a critical role catapulting Africa into the Fourth Industrial Revolution while creating critical mass impact. He has excited audiences in many countries and continents as he shared insights in various global stages like AI Expo Africa, Philadelphia Bio Conference , Africa tech roundtable, Agritech Africa, AI For Good Global Summit, Bio2019, ICE London, Abuja Blockchain & AI Roundtable, Malta Blockchain Summit and Africa Fintech Summit to name just a few. John is also connected to over 200 incubation hubs and accelerators in Africa and mentors a number of younger entrepreneurs.
